The St Johns County FL Inmate Search is an interactive database of currently incarcerated individuals that offers users a plethora of information. Some of the more interesting features include the ability to view photographs and videos of incarcerated residents, as well as request information about a particular inmate.
The most impressive part of the site is that it is available free of charge, and users can even sign up to receive email or text message alerts when certain events happen to a specific inmate. For example, you may receive a phone call or a text message when an inmate's parole eligibility is revoked or their release date is adjusted. The database is updated on a daily basis, and users can expect to see some real-time updates as they scroll down the page.
While this is a great site to visit, you'll want to use a reliable internet connection to avoid downloading a virus or other malicious code. In addition, you'll want to disable your pop-up blockers to make the most of this site's features. The best way to do this is by using the "closed" tabs on your browser, which will allow you to view all of the site's contents without interruption.
The website is a collaboration between the St Johns County Sheriff's Office and several local partners, including the Florida Department of Corrections, Florida Attorney General Office, Florida State University, and the St. Augustine Medical Center.
Sex Offender and Predator Database
The Sex Offender and Predator Database, or as it is known, consists of information about convicted sexual offenders, sexually violent predators, and child predators. It is operated by the Saint Johns County Sheriff's Office, the Florida State Police Department, and other government agencies.
The registry is available to the public to help them identify sex offenders in their communities. It also enables local law enforcement to notify the community of a sex offender or sexually violent predator who is moving into their area.
As with any public record, the data contained in the registry is subject to change. The Division of State Police regularly updates the database to keep it current.
It also relies on the input of municipal police departments and County Prosecutors who provide address information. However, it is important to note that this information may be inaccurate. This is because some addresses are disputed or incomplete.
Additionally, some addresses may be changed by sex offenders who relocate, change jobs, or move into a new house. In these cases, sex offenders will be required to register a new address with the local law enforcement agency or sheriff's office.
This is the only way to make sure that information about a person is accurate. In addition, it is illegal for any person to use the information in the registry to retaliate against an individual listed in this database.
If you have any information regarding the identity of a sex offender or predator, please contact the Saint Johns County Sheriff's Office at one of the numbers below. This will allow law enforcement to investigate the person and determine whether to arrest them for the crimes they have committed.
You can also access the registry by visiting the website below. It will open in a new window and allow you to search the sex offender and predator database.
In some cases, sex offenders can be identified by looking at their name, date of birth, or social security number. However, these comparisons cannot establish a positive identification unless the person has been fingerprinted and photographed by the Division of State Police.
Records/Reports Request Center
The Records/Reports Request Center, or as it is known in short, the RCRC, is dedicated to providing the public with easy access to their information. It does this through a number of methods including online, by phone, by FAX, in person and by mail. It also ensures that the public's privacy is protected while complying with Florida's Public Records Laws.
The RCRC maintains a variety of information that is available to the public, including inmate data from both the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Corrections, criminal court case records from the County Clerk of Circuit Court and Comptroller, and crime reports from the Police Department. In addition, the RCRC has a Sex Offender and Predator database that can be searched online using a keyword search.
To obtain a copy of an inmate record, requesters can use the RCRC's searchable inmate portal or register for an account on the site. In both cases, the requester will be prompted to fill out a questionnaire, which will help the RCRC provide a more detailed answer to their query.
Inmate search information is also provided through the FDLE's Sex Offender and Predator database, which can be searched by name, street address or county zip code. In addition, the FDLE's OffenderWatch tool can be used to locate registered sex offenders/predators in your neighborhood.
If you want to make a request for a specific criminal offense or incident report, include the report number, date, time and location of the incident. Additionally, please provide your contact information so that the Customer Service representative can contact you if there is additional information required.
Upon receiving the request, we will enter it into our queue and process it on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will follow-up with you within five business days to notify you if there are any questions or issues with your request.
Once a request has been processed, the RCRC will send you an email to let you know your records are ready for pick-up or delivery. This email will also contain a tracking number that can be used to track your request on the RCRC's website.
OffenderWatch Tool
The OffenderWatch Tool, or as it is known, provides a free online search of registered sex offenders in St. Johns County, Florida. It is a public service to increase community awareness of registered offenders and predators in the county.
Many counties maintain a sex offender registry, which can be searched by name, street address or zip code. These databases contain information on convicted sex offenders, including full name, age, status, date of birth, booking number, bond amount, home address, and mugshot.
Some registries are maintained by the State of Florida, which allows residents to access them at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Others are run by local law enforcement agencies, such as the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia.
Fortunately, many of these registries are managed by OffenderWatch, the nation’s leading sex offender registry management and community notification network. OffenderWatch’s software helps ensure compliance, increases efficiency, and reduces IT costs while protecting the public with accurate, timely and complete information.
The OffenderWatch app is a family safety tool that parents can download to their smartphone and use to keep track of their children, locate registered sex offenders near them and be alerted when these people contact their kids via text messages, emails, phone calls or if they are lingering around an offender’s residence. Like a seat belt or swim floaties, parents can rely on these tools to help protect their kids from child predators who are constantly seeking new ways to stalk and harass children.
OffenderWatch’s family safety app is the only one that analyzes data from participating law enforcement departments and cross-references this information with those who contact your children. If a sex offender in our network contacts your child via text, email, or phone call, you will be notified instantly!
OffenderWatch works with more than 3,500 local, state and Federal law enforcement agencies in 38 states. These agencies include sheriffs’ offices, police departments, Attorneys General’s offices, U.S. Marshals, United States attorneys, Federal and state probation and parole agents, departments of corrections and ICE to efficiently monitor and report on the offenders within their jurisdictions. OffenderWatch is also a member of the Caribbean Committee against Sex Crimes, which seeks to create a coordinated sex offender registration network in 15 Caribbean nations.
